RumaniaAustrian LevantLloyd Post Office in Galatz1857, June 20. Entire letter from the Ottoman Bank in Galatz to Constantinople, struck on dispatch with fine oval "Agenzie del Lloyd Austriaco/Galatz" handstamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 828). There are no rate marks as the Ottoman Bank would have had an ongoing account with the Lloyd Office. Cert. Todd.
