Entire letter from Cap Haitien to Marseilles, franked by 1867-68 30c. brown pair and 40c. orange, tied by anchor lozenges with matching consular "Le Cap-Haitien" octagon without fleuron (Salles fig. 1366c), with backstamps including "Haiti/Paq. Fr. D N°1" (Salles fig. 1546) and "Ligne-B/Paq. Fr. N°2" (Salles fig. 1431). Maury 30, 31. Ex "Hispanola" collection and Borromeo d'Adda.
