'Imperieuse' on the China Station; the insert card bears the commemorative c.d.s. (2.7) and message; some minor soiling on the envelope. A very scarce destination for this card. Photo

HMS Imperieuse was the lead ship of the her class of two armoured cruisers. She was the flagship of the China Station from 1889 to 1894 and the Pacific Station from 1896 to 1899
