India 1847 (25 Mar.) entire letter "From Corporal George Tully, No. 2264 1st. Compy, 4th. Battln Arty" at Loodiana to Charlotte Town, Prince Edward Island, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and showing oval-framed "india" h.s. in red "2" rate h.s., Liverpool oval d.s. (29.5) and "2 1/2" (2 1/2d. currency) rate mark, the reverse (part of flap missing) with Loodiana Free oval d.s., London transit c.d.s. and "prince edward island" double-arc arrival d.s. (17.6); the long and interesting letter giving details of the battles fought by the writer throughout the 1st. Sikh War at Moodkee, Ferozeshah, Aliwal and Sobraon.
