Plowright. 16-Lond.R.); Territorial Force Efficiency Medal, G.V.R. (417 Pte. H. Plowright. 16/Lond: Regt.), very fine or better (4) Estimate £ 140-180 417 Sergeant Herbert E. Plowright served during the Great War with the 16th (Queen´´s Westminster Rifles) on the Western Front from 1.11.1914 (wounded); his term of engagement ended 31.3.1916, possibly due to wounds. Interestingly Plowright´´s MIC gives him as returning his 1914 Star to have an alteration, 24.9.1919; it was re-issued 30.9.1919, with the unusual rank that now appears on the medal.
