R.A.M.C.); Territorial Force Efficiency Medal, G.V.R (T-389192 Dvr:-A.L.Cpl. L. Godden. R.A.S.C.), generally very fine or better, mounted as original worn (4) Estimate £ 140-180 882 Lance-Corporal Leonard Godden, born 1894, a native of Southampton; served during the Great War with the 26th Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps on the Western Front from 5.11.1914, ´´drafted to France in 1914. In this theatre of war he took part in many important engagements, including those of Mons, the Marne, La Basse, the Somme and Arras, and was slightly gassed..... he returned home in March 1919 and received his discharge after 19 years´´ service.´´ (The National Roll of the Great War, refers); T.F.E.M.
