M.G.C.); War Medal, minor edge bruise to M.M., otherwise nearly extremely fine, together with the recipient´s Certificate of Discharge, dated 11.10.1940; and a fragment copy of the Recommendation for the M.M. (4) Estimate £ 240-280 M.M. London Gazette 14.5.1919 167062 Pte. Kendrick, G., 33rd Bn., Machine Gun Corps The Recommendation states: ´For conspicuous gallantry...devotion to duty on the night...October near Honnecourt. His Company having been ordered...without warning and without...Private Kendrick immediately gallantly...Company reconnoitred routes...for the Company and for the...he reached the forward area he...fire and intense machine gun...a shell exploded by his side...and roll over Private Kendrick...shaken and suffering from bruising...proceeded with his reconnaissance...and disregard for danger was...in enabling the Company to get...attack.
