x CANADA Campaign, Expedition and Military Mail 1871 (25 July) small envelope (complete with contents, one flap missing) from Everton, C.E. to Commerce P.O., Oakland County, Michigan, bearing 6c. yellow-brown Plate 2 with light target cancellations in blue and part despatch c.d.s. in the same coloured ink, small part Guelph c.d.s. on reverse, the contents from a soldier includes "we went to Goderich to drill.... 500 men in our battalion" and personal news; the envelope with some soiling though a rare item of Fenian Raid mail.
