Merchant.), extremely fine, these with two named original card boxes of issue, and with Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque ´Reginald Frank Merchant´, in original card envelope of issue (2) Estimate £ 300-340 Second Lieutenant Reginald Frank Merchant, native of Great Yarmouth; commissioned Temporary Second Lieutenant 36th Company Machine Gun Corps, 26.9.1917; served with the latter during the Great War and was killed in action on the Western Front on the first day of the German Spring Offensive, 21.3.1918, he is buried in the Grand-Seraucourt British Cemetery, Aisne.
