Military General Service 1793-1814, one clasp, Vimiera (G. Cole, 2nd. Foot), minor edge bruising, clasp front slightly crinkled, otherwise very fine Estimate £ 800-900 Private George Cole, born Gloucester 1788; enlisted in the 2nd Foot, June 1807; invalided from the Regiment 1819 after 11 years 267 days with the colours as being unfit and under-size (5 feet 3 and a half inches). Five single Vimiera clasped medals to the Regiment. Provenance: Ex-Broadley Collection 1982.
