Foot.), edge bruising, otherwise nearly extremely fine Estimate £   800-900    Private John Hancock, born Tiverton, Devon, 1786; enlisted in the 2nd Foot, January 1807; transferred 1st Garrison Battalion, July 1809; discharged June 1816, partly as a result of being frost bitten in the toes of his right foot in Spain, after 9 years and 156 days with the colours.    Five single Vimiera clasped medals to the Regiment.
