1867 5c Deep yellow green, original plate, second state, attractive block of sixteen, positions 9-12/45-48, pen canceled for fiscal use with a single horizontal pen line through each row, amazingly deep color and exceptionally strong and very detailed impression of this early printing, extra-large even margins all around, small internal tear in position 24 that is not very apparent from the front but mended on the reverse with small piece of tape that has slightly toned the paper, otherwise very fine and an impressive multiple in this early state.
