A multicoloured, vivid palette characterises this 100 Piastres note, consistent with the artistic vibrancy of the series. The obverse features knights in armour, mounted on horses, embodying the spirit of chivalry and historical strength. These figures are set against the ancient Corinthian columns of the Roman Temple of Jupiter in Baalbeck, a lasting tribute to the region’s Roman heritage.

The reverse presents a dynamic portrayal of Beirut’s port and cityscape, flanked by the same Corinthian columns and horses. This juxtaposition highlights Beirut's role as a thriving cultural and commercial hub in the early 20th century.
