A Memento of CSM Peter Wright VC A signed letter from the VC winner to the current vendor; together with a button of the Coldstream Guards (2) Estimate £ 30-40 Note: On 25th September 1943, near Salerno, WO II Wright , 3rd Battalion Coldstream Guards, took command of an attack when the officers of his company had become casualties. He personally silenced three machine gun posts, led the final assault, secured the objective and held it against an enemy counter-attack.
