Inventor and businessman, founded McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, which later became part of the International Harvester Co.; helped create the mechanical reaper. Document Signed "C.H. McCormick". Partially printed folio Warranty Deed, Rock Island, IL, June 4, 1874. McCormick and his wife Nettie sell one lot of land. They both sign below. Gold notary seal on verso. Very light soiling, threefold with nicks at edge of foldlines. Fine.
