Great Britain. WWI-II Group of Seven to 2nd Lt. The Honourable Robert Arthur William Joseph Southwell, Royal Navy. 1914-15 Star; War and Victory Medals; 1939-1945 Star, Atlantic Star; Pacific Star with "Burma" clasp; and WWII Medal.
R.A.W.J. Southwell (1898-1960), 6th Viscount Southwell was the eldest son of Arthur Robert Pyers Southwell, the 5th Viscount. He entered the Royal Navy in 1914, becoming Lieutenant Commander in 1927 and Commander in 1938. He served on the repair ship HMS Assistance in 1929, then on the battleship HMS Iron Duke, 1930-1931. From 1939-1941 he served on the cruiser HMS Enterprise, then as its Executive Officer, 1943-1944, later Executive Officer of the escort carrier HMS Speaker. Only the WWI medals with naming. The War Medal renamed in unoffical engraving style. On Spink mount. About Extremely Fine.
