Germany. Imperial Bavarian Infantry Officer's Sword. Early 1900s. Brass "P" guard and hilt, crowned AT monogram 1.10.07 / 1.8.08 engraved on bottom curve of guard, wire wrapped, fish skin grip. Nickel-plated, narrow, double fullered, 31 ½" single-edge blade with Bavarian motto "IN TREUE FEST", and name "Emil s./l. hans", japanned scabbard with single suspension ring. Wear to blade and a few tiny rust spots, some small scuffs to scabbard. A Fine weapon.
