Fashion and Art. Gazette du Bon Ton. Complete No. 6 to No. 10 Issues, 1920 Bound. Cloth draped, thick card covers, marbled frontispages. Color pochoir illustrated Plate No. 40 to 79 by various artists; and a lovely and extensive array of color illustrations, color illustrated ads - some magnificent -- and brocade and brocatelle plates. Though short-lived (1912-1925), this gloriously illustrated publication, loosely translated as "Journal of Good Taste" was quite influential. Today, its pochoir illustrations are avidly sought as individual pieces of fashion art. Spine broken, small tear of cloth cover. Two of page edges nicked, bumped and loose. Otherwise the pages are impressive, clean and Very Fine.
