French and Indian Wars: Large and Impressive Mezzotint of Sir Jeffrey Amherst, K. B. After a painting by Sir Josua Reynolds, and an engraving by James Watson. 13" x 17 1/2" including text at the bottom. Published by J. & J. Boydell, London. No date, but probably early nineteenth century. General Amherst succeeded Abercrombie as Commander-in-chief and took Fort du Quesne. He also shared in the capture of Montreal in 1759. Nicely matted and ready for framing.
