Fashion and Art. Gazette du Bon Ton. Complete No. 1 to No. 5 Issues, 1920 Bound. Cloth draped, thick card covers, marbled frontispages. 39 color pochoir illustrated plates by various artists, a good number of Croquis plates, extensive color illustrations and lovely color illustrated ads. Short-lived (1912-1925), but very influential, this French fashion magazine was founded by Lucien Vogel. Loosely translated into English as "Journal of Good Taste", the sumptuously illustrated publication was targeted to an elite audience and carried a hefty 100 Francs per year subscription. Spine missing and cloth cover torn. The superb pages are clean and Very Fine.
