Persian silver-mounted Shamshir. 19th Century. Bone, tip sheathed in silver grip, brass cross-guard; 30" curved steel blade with double fuller. Maker's Farsi legend on ricasso. Silver-mounted leather scabbard. Normal wear to blade, wear on leather with small edge pulling out from beneath fitting, slight greening on cross-guard, small ding on scabbard end. A fine weapon.
