Nepalese Kukri. 19th-early 20th Century. Bone and wood grip with brass fitting, steel blade. Leather scabbard sheathed in silverwork - ornate patterns, rosette and snow lion - with brass central crosspieces, gold leaf floral pattern inlay upper portion. Tip of scabbard blunted at tip, small corner edge loss of gold inlay. An attractive and Very Fine kukri.
