" I enclose a list of Bank Stock held by me in my own name as Guardian or Attorney. By the new law all Bank Stock will be taxed in the town where the Bank is located. Yours truly Henry W. Longfellow." All in brown fountain pen ink. Embossed seal at top left. This example was mounted and framed in the past, and shows moderate age toning. Still quite attractive, and would look very well framed along with the Longfellow portrait, post card, and Longfellow Memorial Association membership certificate that is included . Ex. Lot 1375, R.
