Galsworthy, John (1867-1933). English novelist and playwright. ALS, 4 pp, 8vo. March 20, 1908. Author of "The Forsyte Saga, "A Modern Comedy" and "End of the Chapter." Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932, and the Order of Merit. The letter is a request to Lord Gorse to join a committee honoring Tolstoy.
