Civil War. Trio of U.S. Army Documents: No. 32 Requisition for Forage for Public Horse for Ambulance in the service of U.S. Army for 5 days at Berlin Station, Md, Nov. 1, 1862. One page, printed and handwritten, 10 x 8". Lt. Col. E.R. Goodrich requests 2 horses with their requisite allowance. Fine-About Very Fine; Quarterly Return of Ordnance and Ordnance Stores, Co. F, 34th Regiment Mass. Infantry Retained Copy, March 28, 1864. Four-page printed form with pertinent information handwritten. Signed by commanding officer, 1st Lieut. Charles W. Elwell. Some splits along folds, contemporary paper tape supported edge. VG-Fine; and Pay Voucher Paid to 1st Lieut. Henry O. Dwight, Adjutant, 20th Ohio Infantry, June 12, 1865. Two and one-third pages, printed and handwritten. Categories are broken down into "Pay, Clothing and Subsistence." A separate area is given for "Description of Servants", in this case "Tom" complexion "black" height "5" feet "4 ½" inches… For the period Dec. 31, 1864 to April 1865, Dwight signs that he has received $526.48.
