Russia, Order of St Vladimir, Second Class set of Insignia, Badge, 64mm., gold and enamel, maker's mark A.P and St Petersburg assay mark on ring, Star, 81mm., silver, gold and enamel, flat sew on type, with small eyelets under the points of the rays, and with original leather backing, extremely fine, extremely rare, with a piece of original riband (2)


A Dispatch from Field-Marshal The Duke of Wellington dated Headquarters, Paris, 21 August 1815, contains the following list of Officers upon whom His Imperial Majesty The Emperor of Russia had conferred different Decorations of different classes of the Orders of St George, St Anne, and St Vladimir, 'in testimony of His Imperial Majesty's approbation of their services and conduct, particularly in the late battles fought in The Netherlands':
