Russia, Emirate of Bokhara, Order of the Crown of Bokhara, Grand Commander set of insignia by Hahn Workmaster V.L. of St. Petersburg, Sayyid 'Abd al Ahad issue (1885-1911), sash Badge, 112.5mm. including suspension, x 87.5mm., gold and enamel, the cross issuing from central medallion and suspension loop set with pastes; Star, 99.6mm., gold, with enamel centres, surrounded by four circles set with large rock crystals, the upper circle with gold arch above containing three smaller crystals, both central enameled medallions bearing the accession date of the Emir, A.H. 1303, three pastes lacking from Badge, otherwise extremely fine, extremely rare, with sash riband, in Karl Hahn, St Petersburg, case of issue

The Order of the Crown of Bokhara was founded by Sayyid' Abd al Ahad in 1894 and had eight classes. Bokhara became subject to the Russian crown in 1875, while still retaining a vestige of autonomy.
