A miscellaneous range in a carton, mostly relating to Martinique, including 1676 secretarial letter King Louis XIV at Versailles to the Governor of Martinique and Guadelupe, 1765 autograph letter signed Jean-Baptiste de Rochambeau, French Army officer, 1796 autograph letter signed Frederick, Duke of York, 1800 two entire letters from General Sir Thomas Trigge in Martinique to London (both transcribed), eleven early maps (several coloured) and some reprints, military documents, revenue and other documents, 1857 180 page Almanac (faults), 1794-95 selection of The London Chronicle newspapers with references to Martinique, also range of picture postcards; An interesting lot, viewing recommended.
