1652 (25 Sept.) letter signed at Whitehall with integral address panel reading "For the Commission of the Navie" regarding the defence of the coast of Scotland and the use of a Dutch prize ship taken by Blake and renamed the Falcon; also the commissioning of the ship Satisfaction and the ordering of the victualing of both for the defence of North West Scotland.

Signed "James Harington: Presid:". Long filing endorsement with fine paper seal on reverse where the is a small panel missing.
