The Earl of Derby's Lands Forfeited for Treason
1652 (26 March) document issued and signed by John Bradley regarding the estate of the Earl of Derby whose land is "surveyed and to be exposed to sale" appointing Thomas Mottershead to "contract and bargaine with the Trustees authourised by an Act of this present Parliament ... entitled An Act for Sale of Severall Lands and Estates Forfeited to the Commonwealth for Treason, for the purchasing of the said close of croft of meadow".
Signed "John Bradley" and witnessed by Edmund Adamson, Thomas Watts, Will Lunt and James Halsam".
