Overseas Mail: A group of covers with 1845 and 1849 entire from Spain to London then Guernsey, manuscript rate marks and 1841 1d.; crease and soiling but one of the earliest covers from Spain bearing an adhesive; 1847 wrapper from Hamburg to Edinburgh then Glasgow with 1841 1d.; 1849 wrapper from Tasmania to Belfast, then London with 1841 1d., 1849 wrapper from Calcutta to London then Brighton with 1841 1d.; 1855 envelope from Plymouth to the British Army in Crimea and returned to Plymouth with the required 3d. outward franking and manuscript "3" for the return; 1850 envelope from Coggshall to Plymouth with 1d., redirected to Adelaide with manuscript "6"; 1857 wrapped from London to local forwarding agent with 1d. franking, redirected to Bordeaux with additional 1855-57 4d.
