Iron Age Britain, Catuvellauni, Cunobelin (AD 9-40), AV Stater, 'Linear' Series, Camulodunum (Colchester), corn ear with central stalk, CA to left, MV to right, rev. horse right, ladder mane (weak), branch above with pellet either side, CVN below, 5.434g [83.86grns], 10h (VA 1925; BMC 1772ff.; Mack 210; S.281; ABC 2774), an overt die flaw through obverse field, otherwise largely centred and crisply struck with excellent definition to horse, of handsome rose-gold fabric, near extremely fine, scarce in this state
