Iron Age Britain, Catuvellauni, Cunobelin (AD 9-40), AV Stater, 'Linear' Series, Camulodunum (Colchester), corn ear with central stalk, CA to left, MV to right, rev. horse right, ladder mane (weak), branch above with pellet either side, CVN below, 5.419g [83.63grns], 11h (VA 1925; BMC 1774ff.; Mack 210; S.281; ABC 2774), metal stressing on a broad elliptical flan, of attractive rose-gold fabric, a pleasingly bold very fine
