Awarded as per Case No. 43245:

'At 7.30 p.m. on the 7th October, 1916, owing to the capsizing of a boat a woman was thrown into the harbour at Petrograd, the night being dark. L.W. Salmon, Chief Engineer, s.s. Hesleyside, jumped in and kept her afloat till a boat reached them.'
