Durango-Guanacevi Sub # 9 25c. red (#15-72), imperforate, bearing the rare sub #9 from Guanaceví, good margins all around and in used condition; thin spots. Durango is the only district that applied additional sub-office number overprints to twelve suboffices for a brief period, from September 1872 to May 1873; these are very rare, with or without faults. 1985 MEPSI certificate. Scott 95 var; NF $300.
