Mexico District 3c. Brown (#157-1865), laid paper, fourth period, unused with part o.g., margins all around, large at top and bottom, very fresh. This stamp was issued as an experiment for local city mail in 1866-1867, with only 2,403 issued. Just the stamps from this consignment, with a total of 100 issued, were printed on laid paper; among the few known, this is one of the most attractive examples. 2025 MEPSI and 1983 Jaretzky certificates, signed WE.
