4c. black on blue "sugar paper" (paper coloured through), cut octagonally with close to small margins, initialled "E.D.W.", cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for Aug. 20 1856. Minor surface disturbances, thinning on the lower right that has been filled by using gum, and creasing, of little significance for this delicate stamp.
