4c. black on blue "sugar paper" (paper coloured through), cut octagonally with regular margins, initialled "E.D.W.", cancelled by Demerara double-arc d.s. for Aug. 25 1856. With faults as mostly found, including thinning, minor surface disturbances and a couple of small inclusions, not disturbing the overall appearance of this World rarity, with only about a dozen examples recorded in used and unused condition.
