4c. black on blue "sugar paper" (paper coloured through), initialled "E.D.W.", apparent large to huge margins, though extensively repaired, cancelled by unclear datestamp. Some faults, including creasing and thinning do not the detract from the visual appearance. A great classic worldwide rarity, confirmed by the fact that about twelve examples of this stamp have been recorded as available in any form to collectors, as well as due to the charismatic and significant role of this issue in philately in general.
