SCVTVM • FIDEI • PROTEGET • EA '• crowned square-topped and lightly garnished shield dividing E-R, 2.769g [42.73grns], 4h, m.m. O (Schneider I, 815; North 2010; S.2536), pierced for suspension at 12 o'clock and previously wiped, otherwise with rich dark ochre tone in recesses and pleasingly uniform for strike, very fine and desirable nonetheless, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded Almost Uncirculated (Cert. #8534368-007)
