SCVTVM : FIDEI : PROTEGET : EAM •, crowned square-topped shield dividing E-R, 1.274g [19.66grns], 5h, m.m. tun (Schneider I, 818; North 2011; S.2537), lightly creased but carefully straightened in antiquity, with delectably uniform reddish-brown overlying cabinet tone on a neater round flan, a pleasing very fine, scarce in any state, in NGC Black 'Carrington' holder, graded AU53 (Cert. #8534368-008)
