(x) NGC AU | Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Five-Guineas, 1711 DECIMO, 'J type 1' in date, second 'coarser' diademed and draped bust left, rev. crowned broader shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, eight strings to harp, raised letters + • DECVS • ET • TVTAMEN • • ANNO • REGNI • DECIMO [•] irregularly spaced upwards on edge, 41.739g [644.13grns], 6h (Schneider II, 531; King 147; Stratos -; MCE 202; EGC I, 451 albeit ten strings not noted; S.3568), a small rim bruise at 12 o'clock, otherwise lightly flecked and residually lustrous, further accentuated by attractive orange-red flaring in recesses, a pleasing and bolder very fine, scarce, particularly in this presentable and honest original state, in NGC Black 'Pallas' holder, graded Almost Uncirculated (Cert. #8534311-017)
