Three: Aircraftman First Class F. Edge, Royal Air Force, late Royal Flying Corps
British War and Victory Medals (62160. 2.A.M. F. Edge. R.A.F.); India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, Afghanistan N.W.F. 1919 (62160 A.C.1. F. Edge, R.A.F.), lightly toned, good very fine (3)
Frank Edge enlisted into the Royal Flying Corps at South Farnborough on 23 February 1917, he had previously been a textile fitter and was rated as a Fitter within the R.F.C.. Edge served with the British Expeditionary Force in France from 21 January 1918 followed by service in India which was completed on 5 February 1920. He returned to the U.K. and was finally discharged on 3 April 1920 as he was no longer physically fit for War Service. Edge settled in Bolton after completing his service; sold together with the following archive:

Letter from the Record Office R.A.F. Ruislip dated 21 May 1939 confirming issue of the I.G.S.
(v)
Four letters from his brother Private J. N. Edge, two from Aisne Barracks, Blackdown, Hampshire, and another from the trenches dated 20 June 1917, with a further letter undated

Certificate of Service which confirms his medal entitlement

Three photographs, one of him seated wearing a R.F.C. tunic, a group photograph all in R.F.C. tunics and a further photograph wearing regulation shirts
