John Thomson was born at Airlie, Angus in 1890 and entered the war in France on 23 September 1914 with the 1st Mechanical Transport Company. Thomson served in France until 12 May 1919, he was discharged on 10 June 1919.

Stanley King entered the war in France on 29 July 1915.
