(x) Army L.S. & G.C., V.R. (75 Gunner W. Horrigan D.Bde. R.H.A.), better than fine

William Corrigan initially enlisted in the 66th Regiment on 22 December 1854 serving with them until 13 May 1860. He then transferred to the Madras Artillery remaining with them until 14 May 1861 whereupon he transferred to the British Army. He served for 19 ½ years, 15 of which were spent in India which no doubt contributed to him being discharged due to poor health and the climate on 10 May 1875; sold together with copied service papers.
