1864 "Eagles" Issue
Chihuahua ½r. Lilac, 1r. Blue (both consignment 169-1865), and 2r. Yellow (#50-1866) trio of mint blocks of four, along with a 4r. Green (#169-1865) mint block of ten. All are very fresh with vibrant colors and margins all around (slightly touching on the left side of the 4r.), the majority n.h., with the ½r. showing a spectacular plate crack. Very few Chihuahua stamps were used because the Liberals controlled this district for most of the time. Scott 20, 21, 23, 24, $1,340 as singles with hinge (all are n.h.)., ,
