Veracruz 2r. Emerald, a strip of four with excellent margins all around, featuring a small nick at the bottom right, cancelled on September 11, 1856. Based on the date, this was used to pay the single rate. This is the largest recorded multiple, as confirmed by the N. Follansbee catalogue. NF $4,000 as a strip of four. 2024 MEPSI certificate.
