1900 (5 Apr.) envelope ("victoria hospital board, mafeking" imprint on flap) to London, bearing seriffed overprint Cape 1d. on ½d. [4], 3d. on 1d. [6], British Bechuanaland 6d. on 3d. [5], 1s. on 4d. [2] and Bechuanaland 1d. on ½d. [2], all clearly tied by Mafeking c.d.s. and showing, on reverse, Crocodile Pools (20.4), Bulawayo (23.4) and arrival (25.5) datestamps; the envelope with some creases. A most attractive franking with the largest number of different "Mafeking Besieged" stamps known on cover. Photo
