1838 Admission card in green to the Lower Choir Gallery, North Side, Westminster Abbey in favour of Mrs Gordon, with the original wrapper to her from the Earl Marshal, endorsed "3 Tickets...from Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester" (1776-1857), fourth daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte. Together with a pink card "Admit the bearer / 28 June 1838" and annotated in the hand of Princess Mary "Mrs Gordon Daughter & Son/ Mary (red wax seal)". Rare to find the admission card with the original wrapper, proving that these were twice folded on despatch, and with the children's ticket present too (3)
