1857-58 Postal History selection (5) ex the Gladstone correspondence, all the entires originated from Bassein and addressed to Rangoon, each franked with India 1854 1a., three as a single use and two bearing two examples, the 1857 (4) marked pr Dak and with the adhesives tied by "B/12" obliterators, the 1858 marked pr. St. Diana and with the 1a. tied by "B/156" obliterator in blue on arrival. Very mixed condition, direct inspection strongly advised, nevertheless a useful selection for the specialist.
